It all started in Villahermosa, my hometown in the sunshine-drenched State of Tabasco, Mexico. I come from a hardworking family, but one with zero artistic inclinations. My own artistic expression started at an early age when my mother signed me up for guitar lessons at age 8. I played in countless music groups since age 14. That’s when I started looking for my genuine voice. The fact that I was considered the family jester and balladeer and that I sucked marbles at playing sports helped me loads. Here I am now trying my luck at blogging.
A singular mixture of nostalgia, homesickness, and the unshakeable need to learn, evolve and leave my own footprint in the maelstrom of voices, information and white noise out there, makes me leap out of bed and tap into my deepest creative instinct.
Behind it all, is the urge to expose myself by presenting my journey out in the open, making it a transformative one. Bringing up the good, the bad and the unexpected of my day-to-day and creating resonating connections with like-minded humans along the way is my ultimate goal.
Welcome to my blog,
